My students need 3 sets of Magna-Tiles to work in collaborative groups. In Kindergarten, we focus on working in small groups. The Magna-Tiles will enable students to build together. Part of the Common Core Curriculum is to look at things in various ways and persevere until it comes out the way you want. Working together in a group, students will have the choice to construct what they want. If improvements need to be made this can be done by collaborating together to solve the situation. It is important for students to listen to each others ideas. Collaborating gives each child the option to have a say in the project. The Magna-Tiles will give my students this opportunity.
