Books available for student K-5 in the art classroom will be a great way for my students to see that reading doesn't just happens in the "reading class" but its something that occurs daily in every environment and also for enjoyment. I am trying to get books that are art related as these titles are more difficult to find. My goal is to build a nice and confortable reading area with a rug and a variety of books that will inspire kids to read for enjoyment after completing the main art lesson. This will be a great experience for kids to see that literature can be found in other places outside their reading class and the school library.
