My students are wonderful. They are eager to learn and hungry for new opportunities. The students at our school struggle with poverty, gang and drug influence, and difficult home environments. Many students are working on their English language skills. Despite these challenges, their spirits and imaginations thrive. The diversity at our school (we have a majority Latino population) contributes to a greater understanding and acceptance of others. The overall result of all these factors are young adults who face the future with determination and tenacity.

About my class
