I want to provide my students with paired access to Chrome Books to work on 21st century computing skills, including classroom instruction of coding through the code.org curriculum as well as the Lego League Jr. robotics program. This means I need 3 more Chrome Books in order to be able to facilitate whole class instruction and guidance. The earlier the grade when students have access to developing problem solving and analytical skills, the more fluid, flexible, and independent their thinking will become. I have seen how excited even the most doubtful student becomes when they have this opportunity to explore and learn in a fun way!
