Colored resources for keyboards will be used to assist special needs students to work within our regular classroom setting. All students in keyboarding have a program they need to complete to receive their Carnegie Unit. Having technology assistance, such as colored stickers to coordinate finger key stroking, will aid Special Needs students to work more effectively being inclusive. Besides special needs, many students receiving 1508, 504 and ELL accommodations may need to listen as they are working on their programs. Having headphones for each student's computer will be beneficial and help them successfully complete both their keyboarding program and Achieve3000. Ahaving tablets or laptops will add flexibility and mobility for some students who benefit from flexible seating.
