Having tables will help students engage in peer learning. Everyone will have an opportunity to add to their team talk and feel included in their conversations. Rather than individual desks, student movement would be encouraged within the classroom. As of now, space is limited and movement usually requires movement of desks and chairs and often becomes time consuming. Students will then be able to flourish as the leaders I know they can be if we are able to get these tables funded.Students will be able to work cooperatively on group assignments which are plentiful in social studies, like research on ancient civilizations and delivery of good writing when it comes to addressing a prompt for a reading question. Please help me, help my students!
