I have the best first grade classroom at my school! Every day I am amazed at what my students can do. They are very curious and LOVE to learn. Each day they are so excited to share with me and their classmates about what they learned from what they read last night. While they love hearing me read stories, what they most love is non-fiction, their favorite topics being about space and animals. Whenever I add new books to my library, seeing their faces light up and hearing them say "I want that book!" warms my heart. My students are so appreciative for their education and come to school to be successful and learn the most that they can and run home to tell their families what they learned!
