As a first year teacher, I have very little to offer my new little friends! When I think back to my experiences in Kindergarten I think of sitting on the big colorful carpet in the front of the room listening to all of the great books that I love! The classroom carpet is the heart of the room and where so many learning opportunities occur-one the carpet the students can come together as a community and learn, play, and interact with one another. It is a place we can explore different units, listen to amazing stories, and work on our sight words with Heidi Songs! I want my students to have a spot in my room where they can sit comfortably in order to learn. This requested Alphabet Activity Carpet has large colorful squares that detail where the students are to sit. This will allow my little friends to understand their personal space and boundaries! With your help my little friends will have a warm and cozy place to sit and learn!!
