My students are so eager to learn more about music. They have been working so hard to learn chord progressions and working to accompany themselves on various instruments. My 3rd and 4th graders would love the opportunity to learn a stringed instrument. We currently have 4 ukuleles and with 25 kids in a class, it just isn't enough. With our current budget, purchasing these through the school is not feasible. Students would love the chance to learn ukulele and it is a life long skill that they could easily transfer to guitar later. This would not only give students a chance to learn something musical, but would also help with their fine motor skills.
