The horseshoe tables will allow me to meet with a group of students in one central location. I will be able to focus on the content and skills instead of deciding what location in the room I need to move to next in order to get to the students with specific needs. They will also encourage our students to work with their peers while getting more individualized instruction. Our multilingual students will also benefit, by being given the opportunity to have discussions in their home language with a neighboring peer sitting close by. The differentiated seating would be a welcoming change.
