Our students are in great need of resources to create projects that inspire creativity, critical thinking skills, communication, and collaboration. With so much emphasis put on test taking, students need more opportunities to develop the 21st century skills needed to compete in the ever changing, global and technological world they are facing. Creating a Makerspace is the foundation for challenging students to deconstruct, construct, and create their own inventions and solutions. The strength of a young mind is its openness and unlimited realm of possibility. Students will use this strength along with hands on, minds on learning to feel a sense of accomplishment and freedom, while creating and taking charge of their learning. Any help in establishing our Makerspace is greatly appreciated!
