Osmo Genius Kits will allow my students to bring learning to life! These kits will enable students to take the driver's seat to master their problem solving skills in a fun and interactive way. Students will be able to use the Osmo Genius Kits with the technology that we already have in the classroom to work with number games using the hands on pieces to problem solve and play educational games. Osmo provides them with instant feedback on their learning. Osmo is fun and engaging for students and they do not even realize that they are learning. With Osmo tangrams (included in the kit) my students will have yet another tactile way to manipulate pieces to create shapes to improve their problem solving abilities' and spatial awareness. Vocabulary can come to life as students create their own word games using Osmo to practice spelling and vocabulary Students will use Osmo to create their own lists and find the pictures to use as clues or prompts for the word meaning. This will help my English Language Learners to have more visual cues to learn English. Numbers with Osmo enables students to play games and learn number sense. This will boost their confidence levels in math knowledge. These Osmo Genius Kits will open up the world of exploring, creating, and learning for my students.
