Students collaborate in my class on a daily basis. Students begin their collaborative brainstorming in small groups of 3-4. Eventually, through the engineering design, students will share out their ideas/project to the whole class and sometimes organizations/individuals that have been asked to come into class. Your donation will allow students to easily stream their design digitally using technology that students already possess on their tablets so that the entire class can see their project rather than transferring their digital design to poster/chart paper to show their classmates. Students will be able to use different types of technologies to solve problems and still be able to display their results on the same media. This ensures that they will be workplace ready with 21st century skills. Students will leave my class room knowing how to display and communicate their ideas and designs to organizations. I have requested a projector, an adapter, and a projector screen for my students. The projector will be able to enlarge and display student work upon the projector screen. The adapter I have included allows up to 4 computers/tablets to be connected to the projector at a time. It also has a 25 ft length so that we are not confined to one small location. Students will be able to come into class, connect their computers via the cable, and when we present our work we can quickly switch between the four screens.
