My students are children of multicultural backgrounds, ages, and diverse learning needs. Our inclusive school setting is situated in urban demographics and is comprised mainly of lower socioeconomic families and communities. Every day I wake up with a smile knowing that I am blessed to work with children that make a difference in a very positive way in my life. They have touched my heart and soul so profoundly just by their sheer presence. Despite their learning disabilities and challenging life experiences, many of them continue to persevere in hope of achieving success in their lives.
