Hi my name is Mrs. Cumberton and I am a new 6/7th grade teacher in NJ. We focus a lot of our learning around reading, writing, and projects that require us to build community and get out of our seats and move around. This year will be my 6th year teaching Language Arts, but my first year in a new school. I love seeing new readers bloom and watching students little "light bulb" go on when they realize they can guide their own learning. This year, we really need to build our library with more graphic novels and new diverse books that can help my diverse learning community feel like they can relate to the books they are reading. We also need to have different seating options for flexible seating as students feel comfortable learning at different levels. Please help me build our library and provide different seating arrangements for students!
