Every day my students amaze me. My students are creative and excited and ready to learn. Any time a new topic is introduced my classes are enthusiastic and willing to dive in. This is what makes my job so fulfilling. Our school is in upstate New York and my students come from many different rural backgrounds with a very high percentage qualifying for free or reduced lunch. I teach kids from kindergarten through fifth grade. Our school climate is very positive. The staff, teachers, and administration are all anxiously engaged in improving not only the academic lives of the students, but in creating more well-rounded people.
