My students come to school full of energy and ready to learn! They often work in small groups around the room and would benefit from flexible, comfortable seating options. The flexible seating options will allow my students to make their own choices to participate in classroom learning activities in a comfortable environment. Listening to a story or playing math games is more enjoyable when sitting comfortably on the floor using pillows, cushions, or sitting on a comfy couch. Students will have the opportunity to work with partners while sitting together on a soft couch or comfy pillow. Reading books independently or with a partner would be more comfortable while sitting on the floor or leaning on a comfy pillow. The wobble cushions are great for those days when students are a little more fidgety and restless. This flexible seating project will help my students relax comfortably while being engaged in learning.
