I have an absolutely delightful group of enthusiastic first graders. They are excited about a new school year and eager to learn new things. We started this year with several activities to create our school family. The school family is the foundation of a socially and emotionally intelligent classroom; therefore, my students will participate in rituals and routines every morning to build a positive, loving, and caring classroom environment. I truly believe that having a connection with students is the gateway to learning. They are excited about their new school family and can't wait to learn and grow together. We are looking forward to a successful year.
