Many students do not have access to technology at home. Our school has limited access for students in computer labs and even less technology in the classroom. Having 6 iPads will allow students to practice math facts, use the internet to get up-to-date information for reports and with the use of keyboards students will learn the skills needed for typing and writing essays. Students will be able to learn basic coding and build skills to help them far past third grade! Technology is a part of our daily lives; my students need to learn how to use this critical tool to be successful in school and in the work environment. Access to iPads will be a stepping stone to building more technology into our daily learning.
