At times, it can be challenging for students to focus on a task when sitting in the traditional desk and chair. Many students like to move and find other comfortable ways to focus. I embrace the alternative seating model and currently allow my students to work, during independent or small group activities, on a rug, a yoga ball, or at a standing desk. I would love to provide even more flexible seating options! Please consider donating to this project. The project includes bean bag chairs, additional yoga balls, bungee chairs, and a portable lap desk. As long as my students are working hard and showing effort, they are able to sit any where in the class that provides them the best possible opportunity to focus.
