Students love positive reinforcements and tangible rewards. What better way to reward students than with a healthy snack for displaying positive behaviors or meeting an academic goal. We are in need of a popcorn popper to prepare a fresh healthy snack for students mid-afternoon. Students generally bring hot-chips and other salty snacks that are not nutritious. We would like to offer students a healthy alternative teaching them to make better food choices. Healthy snacks promote healthy lifestyles. Providing our students with a popcorn machine will encourage them to learn to prepare snacks that are better for their bodies and brains thus encouraging them to do better academically.

About my class
