We are requesting wobble chairs, balance discs and wiggle seats that will allow my students who have trouble with staying in the seats more flexibility without bringing attention to themselves. The group of students that I teach are not only gifted but also creative and with flexible seating they will feel less constrained and more relaxed to demonstrate their uniqueness. The scholars are ready and anxious to come to my class because they can feel at ease to verbally express their thoughts. I would like to give them also a less restricted environment such as flexible seating would give me. Teaching students who are gifted and some twice exceptional with having trouble staying in their seats this will make our classroom more inviting.
