My students are from many different backgrounds and cultures. I teach in an urban elementary school with the third highest poverty percentage in the county. I specifically teach ESL (English as a Second Language) at this school. My students are in kindergarten through fifth grade. Their English language proficiencies range from no English at all to approaching their English speaking peers. I see my students for one hour each day for small group instruction. These supplies will be used everyday by 60-65 English language learners.
