By donating to this project, you will be helping to start the journey of flexible seating and literacy in a 21st-century classroom setting. Creating diverse reading opportunities and seating arrangements for students can engage and allow students to learn in differentiated ways. A learning environment needs to be varied not only in curriculum but in its physical functionality. To do this, students need the right tools for the job.
Let's be honest, 2nd graders need to move around and good books/materials to read. With your support of alternative seating like bean bags, yoga balls, and stools, students can have more options to get their wiggles out but still engage in the learning process. Additionally, by providing students with the fun reading options of Magic Tree House and Science Spin, they are more likely to read and improve their overall literacy skills. This occurs because students are given varied topics to choose from which peaks many different interests and allows them to have more autonomy in their reading selections. Thank you so much for checking out my page and considering donating to the world of shaping young minds!
