My students deserve the world. They come to class every day and give their all. I plan many small group lessons for their various needs but without any place to have an official small group lesson, it becomes challenging to offer them the best lesson possible. Many times we work on the floor, at a cluster of student desks, or any where we are able to pull 5-6 students together. My students are so versatile that they just go with the flow but I would be able to plan and offer better small group lessons if I had a proper place to hold these lessons. A horseshoe table would mean that I can designate an area in the classroom to offer these small group lessons. I could set up all needed materials and save time by being ready to go. Time is limited and every minute that I can spend teaching them new skills is another minute well spent.
