With a focus on gifted and talented students, these robots will give students a hands-on approach to coding and problem-solving that is lacking in many classrooms today. All students within the general education technology classroom in 1st grade through 8th grade will benefit through units designed around robotics in weekly classes. Incorporating STEM activities geared to the ISTE standards will encourage my students to become innovative designers and computational thinkers. The use of this approach to solving real-world problem scenarios helps students to reach higher levels of Bloom's Taxonomy in the area of technology including application, analysis, and evaluation. And the best part? Robots are fun!
