As our school moves to be Future Ready, I am looking for ways to provide more flexible seating options in my classroom. My kids have already benefited from having a standing table to work at as well as a quiet work table in the library corner. I feel my more active friends will benefit from having a stool to sit on that will allow them to more while they work. In addition, I will have fewer tip overs accidents! Flexible seating options are the wave of the future! Future Ready is not just about technology, but incorporating alternative learning environments to support the different learning styles of our children. I am moving towards a classroom that provides flexible options to enhance student learning. Standing tables, floor seating, yoga balls, wobble stools... All of these options can enhance the different learning styles of my children to further their success!
