My classroom has been a flexible seating classroom for 2 years. I have been able to buy some seating options for my students but there is still not enough for all of my students to enjoy. The wobble seats and floor seats will add to the options the students have. Sitting still in one place for a long period of time can become tireless. With the different seating options, my students will be able to work while being comfortable. Being comfortable in your environment brings out your best work. I wholeheartedly believe that when my students are able to relax and be comfortable, they produce their best work. The area rug will be used as floor seating at my low table. The students love to sit on the floor and having the rug will make it that much more enjoyable. By purchasing these seating options, my students will have the chance to improve their learning by not becoming tireless and distracted by sitting still for too long.
