Many of my students come from poverty and often do not have the needed supplies. Many come from unconventional home lives, raised by grandparents or aunts, and some are even homeless. These surroundings, more often than not, have set our group of students behind in regards to exposure and prior knowledge. My students need access to hands on resources, as well as items that make my classroom welcoming and inviting so that they will feel safe and loved in the environment we are in each day.

About my class
