After a year of teaching students during a pandemic, thinking outside the box has become imperative to create a safe, comfortable and engaging space for students to thrive. This means meeting students where they are both academically and socio-emotionally. Students thrive in a structured environment, but also deserve to have some ownership to find a space where they'll learn best. Flexible seating has psychological, physiological, and social benefits for growing minds. It encourages learning by giving students a voice in creating an environment where they can feel comfortable learning and allows students to feel more responsible toward their learning. Help me create a safe and flexible space for them to grow in mathematics.

About my class
