The mobile desk and iPad stand will help enhance my students' learning by having their teacher be able to move around the room helping each and every student, all while still being able to model for them on the screen. Often when showing students how to complete their seat work, which is all the time in kindergarten, I am stationed where my document camera is located. The fixed location of my document camera hinders me from moving around the room while I am modeling. With a mobile desk setup, I will be able to move throughout the room using my iPad and the stand to project what I am working on through our Air Server. This project will give me the opportunity to help students that I normally wouldn't be able to make it to until I reach a stopping point AND model an assignment for the rest of my students ALL AT THE SAME TIME! I am excited about trying this mobile modeling technique in hopes I am able to keep all my students caught up and understanding what is going on in front of them!
