My students will be entering a classroom without a circle time carpet this fall unless we can get the support of donors to donate the funds. Due to the major budget constraints within my district there aren't any funds to be given for this essential classroom necessity. My students attend a Title 1 school where 95% of my students are on free and/or reduced lunch. My students live in the heart of California's agriculture industry, thus many are children of farm laborers. I will have many students that I taught the previous year in Kinder with me in 1st this year. I know that they are all hard workers and love school.
