My upcoming third graders are love to read and use technology to expand their learning. By having the Time for Kids Subscription, my students can be expanded to literature across their curriculums (Reading, Math, Science and Social Studies). They can keep with with current events that is happening during their era and this will allow them to make real-world connections. The Fire Tablets will allow them to research the events to give them more knowledge information to help them understand and expand on what is happening around them.. The Fire Tablets will also serve as buzzers when they are working on team quizzes and sign-in via Kahoots! They will also use them as desk centers for Math, Science, Social Studies, Health and Reading. The students will also use them to accompany them on our field trips to help capture important and memorable artifacts from our field trip. This will help them write their reflection paper about what they saw and learned from the field trip.
