My transitional kindergarten class will have ABC centers during language arts time. The products I chose will not only help them to learn their ABC's, but will also help with their fine motor-skills, and will be so much FUN! We will have a stamping station where the students will have different stamping activities in regards to the alphabet. This is a station that can constantly change and be used in so many different ways. We will have a flashcard station. These flashcards are amazing because you can write on them with a dry erase marker and use them over and over again. This will not only help with identifying the alphabet but with handwriting as well. We will have a puzzle station. They will still be working with their ABC's but will also be working on their fine motor skills. Lastly we will have a alphabet magnetic station where they will be able to build simple words using the ABC's. There are also activities where they can identify the beginning sounds of certain words too. Our center groups will be 4 or less students and will consist of stamping, writing, and learning through play. Learning through play is so important for a 4-5 year old. I am so excited to incorporate these fun centers into our classroom.
