My 24 first-graders are eager to learn. They attend a public school that can not afford all materials needed for a successful school year filled with learing. My students come from different cultures and are all at different levels of reading. The one thing all of my students have in common is that they all want to become better learners... and what better way than practice? They need class materials to do just that. This will help my first graders become better readers and writers.
