By donating to our classroom rug and bean bag seats, my students will have the flexibility to read and learn where they want. This will promote independence and help students self monitor their actions to promote learning in every subject. The large rug will allow my students to work with peers or spread out and work independently. The bean bag seats will allow my students to get comfortable when reading while helping to increase their stamina while reading. My students will be able to increase their knowledge by being comfortable in my classroom to promote learning. My third graders will be also be able to increase their collaboration and critical thinking skills, part of our school wide enrichment model, by participating in partner and group work activities by having a place to work.
