The children I work with are grade 2 students between the ages of 7 and 9. Our class comes from many different backgrounds and ability levels. In our class we have students with both general and special needs. We are a low-income, inner-city turnaround school with a high output of spirit and love. My students are vivacious, creative, and energetic. They love to take time out of their day to be read to, and most of all they love to tell others the stories and ideas that they have in their own minds.
