These globes will serve multiple purposes in my classroom! The world globes will supplement the few we have so that we can do small group activities and "global scavenger hunts" where students hunt for a location while practicing the terms we are learning! The inflatable globes will also be used in small group activities to help students better understand the concept of map projection and distortion. By donating to our project, you won't just be giving students a fun hands-on experience, but you will be helping to create successful navigators! These materials will be used all year long in various ways to help students understand and practice life-long map and globe skills.
