I am requesting 4 Chromebooks for my 3rd Grade classroom. I have 18 students in my classroom who will be very excited to have more exposure to different types of technology . Students will utilize these Chromebooks in many different ways, individual and group settings. With these Chromebooks, my students will be able to learn their basic math facts through online games, rather than the traditional flash card method. As a class, we would be able to utilize the Chromebooks to dig deeper into our non-fiction units by exploring more information on the topics such as volcanoes and learning more about penguins and other artic animals.
