I have a very obedient hard working class. They are talkative, but eager to learn. We are working hard on becoming a community that cares for each of it's members and it is wonderful to see everyone feel safe within our four walls. The students are struggling in their ability to synthesize, analyze and make connections in their reading. It's hard for them to go from one genre to another and make connections. They struggle with writing, it has become more of a focus since the common core and they need to have many opportunities to write effectively.

About my class
