In my class, I will have 22 6-7 year old students who come from a variety of backgrounds. They come to class each day with a smile on their face wanting to know what new information they will be learning about. I am new to a Title I school that has limited technology in the classrooms. I have found that when I have had access to iPads and an ability to allow students to create and watch and re-watch teacher/student made videos or prove they understood in a way other than test/quizzes students learn and enjoy learning. The school I will be teaching at will have a mix of struggling and high level students, in which I will have a healthy mix of both. To be able to give all students in the classroom the ability to be successful and give each student more personalized lessons/stations, the iPad will be very beneficial for all students in my room.
