These rain suits will provide my students with an opportunity to explore and learn outdoors during different weather conditions. Research shows the more time children spend outside the greater the benefit to their overall development. My students will learn and explore different seasons, weather, strengthen gross motor skills, discover/observe natural occurrences/items, boost their mental/physical health, and improve overall development. Many activities performed inside my classroom can be extended and/or taken outdoors so that an outdoor classroom space can be created. Not all classrooms have four walls. Real-world outdoor exploration, experiences, and learning can not be replicated.
