My students are 8th graders (13-year-olds) at a public school in New Jersey. The community where I work is very diverse and some of my students have only recently moved to America. I teach in a school where many of our students receive free and reduced lunch because they are considered at or below poverty level. They are wonderful kids with big hearts and a willingness to learn, but they don't necessarily have the means to do so; especially when it comes to technology. I would love a chance to offer them the opportunity to use technology to advance their education.
