At our school, we are focused on exposing our students to STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) related curriculum and these books would be the perfect addition to my freshly painted STEAM cart. My students devour books as they work towards their quarterly reading goals so I am constantly looking for ways to get new and interesting books into our classroom. These books would provide hours of engagement to my students along with spurring their interest in STEAM. They will also help build background knowledge that I can pull from as we work through our STEAM units. I can already hear the enthusiasm in their voices and see the excitement in their eyes when I am able to fill my shelves with these interesting, thought-provoking new books.
