Having an Ipad accessible to my students at all times would be magical. Using the SeeSaw app students can journal their daily learning through words, drawings and photos. These journal entries can be shared with our class and families. This sharing promotes communication between students and parents which then connects school learning to at home learning. Our school has a strong focus on literacy using units of study. The district has provided us with hundreds of book to share with our students. The problem is not all kindergarten students can read these books independently. I have recorded myself reading all these books and have attached a qr code that can be scanned on the Ipad. The student(s) can listen to me reading the books in our units of study library as a group or independently. I also have purchased many literacy centers that have activities that can be done using the Ipad.
