First grade curriculum is extremely challenging these days. Their young minds are constantly working while reading, writing and learning various math skills. Young children need opportunities to work together, build social skills, and enhance their problem-solving skills. What better way to learn those skills than by having fun?! Your donation will give students a variety of materials such as Magna-Tiles, Legos, and Rainbow Snowflake Discs to help build upon these skills. Rather than coming in and doing pencil and paper tasks, my students will learn through morning play centers. They will also have time to use these STEM activities during math centers and dismissal. These materials are sure to keep their young minds actively engaged and thinking!
