During morning meeting we will make a circle on the perimeter of the carpet and learn about social skills. We will discuss how to be a good citizen. Having our own personal space everyday on the carpet will help students feel safe to participate in circle time discussions. They will be focused more on their daily read aloud because they will Have personal space on a large carpet. I will be teaching phonics lessons and math interactive lessons to keep the students actively engaged daily on the carpet! When students have a routine and designated areas they are able to focus and learn!
