My 3rd grade students love to learn. They especially love science. They learn best when they have hands-on opportunities. They are also at a wonderful age where they want to be more independent and responsible. They need a project that has a real life application to solidify the idea that science knowledge is vital. My students like to work together, but need a meaningful project that motivates them to improve their skills and seek new knowledge.
