My students have succeeded in learning through artistic expression as they navigate through the end of virtual learning. These supplies will ensure that my students can continue to succeed with familiar supplies as they transition back to a face to face learning environment. These students learn best when they work with their hands! Crayons and paint brushes help my students practice their fine motor skills and improve their writing skills. We participate in writing letters, names, and directed drawings daily to improve pencil grip, writing form, and muscle strength. I would love to introduce my students to new art media to expand their creative ability and motor skills. Hands-on learning allows my students to take charge of their own learning. In their new face to face environment, students will learn responsibility and self-control. These supplies will be used in our most exciting STEAM project, creating a leprechaun trap in the spring! The art materials will enhance our classroom environment by allowing me to fill the room with the students' creations!
