The supplies will give my students the opportunity to feel like we are in our classroom, using materials that they would use once we are able to return. I would love for my students to receive the items in the backpack and provide them with materials because I would not want them to be disengaged due to a lack of resources at home. I would like to provide my students with writing tools such as; crayons, markers, color pencils, and jumbo pencils. Also, whiteboards, Primary Journals, Write and Wipe books and clear insert sheets where they will be able to continue developing their handwriting skills. The manipulatives will give the students the hands on learning they need. The students will use these math tools to help them solve the problems that are being mastered. They will also use the magnetic letters to practice letter and sound recognition with their own sets of magnetic letters.
